VICKY LICKY(speaking loudly and clearly) Puppy Jay… Tell us — how did your passion for music begin?
PUPPY JAY(shouting, confused) WHAT?? “passion for meat and beans”?
VICKY LICKY(louder) HOW DID YOUR PASSION FOR MUSIC BEGIN?
PUPPY JAY(nods, suddenly understands) Ohhh! Right. Yeah. Beans later. It was a weekend… Dad and my big brother, Doxie Din, were watching a Metallica concert. I felt… out of place. So I wandered into the basement… and that’s where I found it! A dusty old box full of old clothes… old photos… and one mysterious vinyl record. It belonged to our supposed ancestor — Doxie Din the Eighth. Though now I know… he wasn’t really my ancestor… Coz I’m adopted!
VICKY LICKY(louder) Yes — we did a full investigation. Click the link in the top corner for plot twists, genetic labs and much more. (pause — shifts tone, intrigued) BUT PUPPY JAY! WHEN YOU FOUND THAT VINYL — DID YOU PLAY IT RIGHT AWAY? WHAT WENT THROUGH YOUR HEAD WHEN YOU HEARD HIS MUSIC FOR THE FIRST TIME?
PUPPY JAY(pause, then quieter — voice shifts into memory) The moment I dropped the needle… I felt something I’d never felt before.
MUSIC: “Für Elise” — played with emotion, raw and a little clumsy — the original Doxie Din VIII version.
PUPPY JAY(V.O.) It was a piece called Für Elise, composed by Doxie Din the Eighth. At least… that’s what the label said!
FLASHBACK: Puppy Jay sits frozen, eyes wide, ears twitching. Music fills the room.
PUPPY JAY(V.O.) Of course, my rock’n’roll family tried to steer me away. Tried to make me love guitars, distortion, volume… But from the moment I heard those notes… my heart belonged to the keys!
FLASHBACK: Puppy Jay tapping on a cardboard keyboard with quiet determination.
PUPPY JAY(V.O.) And when my dad saw me practicing on a keyboard I made from cardboard… something shifted! It touched his heavy metal heart. He bought me my very first piano. And I’ve gotta say — that moment defined me. It made me who I am!

PUPPY JAY(confused, loudly) HUH??

BARK GRYLLS(without hesitation) “Wiener Warriors.” That track got me to the Everest summit. Twice!

Dramatic music swell. Snow kicks up. Bark squints into the distance.

BARK GRYLLS(solemn) Puppy Jay… We Wiener Warriors may live short lives — mostly because we never ask for help. But we live them loud! And your music? It’ll echo through the mountains forever.

PUPPY JAY(sighs) Yeah… those were rough times! Especially the day YouTube by mistake demonetized my brother’s channel. We were all working on that channel back then… And suddenly — poof! No income!
PUPPY JAY(V.O.) My paws on the keys… were our only source of income!

VICKY LICKY(grinning) Wow. You really clawed your way up from the bottom, huh? And then came your breakout moment… the viral sensation.

DR. BARKOVITZ(serious) It is genius. Undeniably! Especially the song “Evolution.” It perfectly aligns with my scientific worldview — a bold musical thesis that humans actually evolved from dachshunds.

VICKY LICKY So tell us, Puppy Jay… How did you find your sound? And more importantly — how did you find her? Lady Suna… The voice behind so many of your tracks. Mysterious. Powerful. I couldn’t find a single post, interview — not even a selfie. PUPPY JAY HOW DID YOU FIND LADY SUNA?!?

PUPPY JAY(V.O.) One day, I was walking home and heard music through an open window.

Puppy Jay peeks in. A warm room. Piano echoes.
PUPPY JAY(V.O.) It was a music conservatory… I walked in — and it just clicked! That’s where I found my mentor.

SHARK(serious) That’s awful. What do the vets say?
Cut to Puppy Jay mid-interview — squinting, confused.
VICKY LICKY(loud) Oh — right. Puppy Jay! What do the doctors say??
PUPPY JAY(shouting, alarmed) WHICH dogs slay?!
VICKY LICKY(even louder) THE DOCTORS! WHAT DO THE DOCTORS SAY?!
PUPPY JAY OHHH! THE DOCTORS! Uhhh… I don’t know! I haven’t really thought about that yet!

VET(brisk, clinical) Let’s find out what’s going on with you. We’ll start with your “Anamnesis morbi.” When did the symptoms start?
PUPPY JAY This morning. We were in the studio. Although… everything was fine last night.
VET(nods) Let’s check the X-ray results. Interesting… Hmm… Fascinating!
PUPPY JAY(alarmed) What is it?! WHAT??
VET(still calm) Let’s continue. “Anamnesis vitae”: Does anyone in your family… snore excessively?
PUPPY JAY(loudly) YES!! My dad snores so loud! Me and my brother even came up with a secret strategy to survive it.

VET(flipping page) Well then… Considering all the data… I’m ready to present a preliminary diagnosis. “Obstructio meatus acustici externi.” (pause) In simple terms: You forgot to take out your earplugs.
PUPPY JAY(quietly) Oh… Wait… What!
Faint ambient music plays in the room.
PUPPY JAY(gasps) I… I can hear again!
He sprints to the corner piano, plays a few joyful chords.
PUPPY JAY(grinning, emotional) OH MY DOG! I’M BACK!!!
VET(with a smile) The classic case…
PUPPY JAY Cool! Thank you, doc! My musical career is NOT doomed!!
VET That’ll be $400.
PUPPY JAY(outraged) What?! $400?! But I have corporate insurance! DeepSure Insurance!
VET(stone-faced) Yes… But even their slogan clearly states: “We cover everything… except stupidity.”
VET(gently) And this, Puppy Jay… is officially… stupidity.
