Who is Doxie Din?
Doxie Din is a real dachshund, born in 2010, the star of the silent comedy series Doxie Din Show (2017–2025), a Webby Award winner.
In the show
Doxie Din is Puppy Jay's big brother: a self-described "superstar funny dachshund", sixteen, with barely any teeth left, and the channel's legendary anchor. After a giant eagle carries him off to its nest, he declares his time as an "action movie super hero" over, hands the channel to his little brother and settles into retirement — dropping in for cameos "if you write a good script". Deadpan and hard to rattle, he haggles with eagles and confides in an egg. He is also fiercely protective — he handled Puppy Jay's school bullies "the dachshund way" — and remains the teacher his brother looks up to. He loves rock music, has top-tier drip, got through years of online hate with therapy, and thinks Gen Z calls everything trauma.
Also mentioned in episodes 3, 4, 8, 10, 12, 16.
